Fatherhood comes with big changes on many levels - personally, emotionally, and relationship-wise. The dynamics in the partnership with the other half might develop in a way that is overwhelming for both sides if neither addressed properly nor processed mindfully.

However, many fathers also face a situation where they unexpectedly find themselves living in some kind of separation from their children. In conclusion, they often face the heartache of not seeing them as often as they wish. ​This separation can lead to a cascade of struggles—mental, emotional, and psychological. The weight of these burdens can feel overwhelming, leaving many fathers feeling powerless and adrift.

​During the two months, the holistic online program empowers fathers to rediscover their resilience and embrace a path of transformation. It is designed to help struggling dads reclaim their inner strength amidst life's challenges and navigate through the storm of chronic stress, depression, and burnout. Through ancient yogic techniques such as movement and breath, combined with shamanic tools and modern therapeutic practices such as NARM method, participants can cultivate emotional stability, mental clarity and physical strength. ​

Especially those fathers living in separation from their children often face the heartache of not seeing them as often as they wish.

 

The weight of these burdens can lead to a cascade of struggles mental, emotional, and psychological, leaving many of us feeling powerless and adrift. With SHIVA SHIFT, like-minded fathers willing to grow are being guided on their path of inner exploration, healing, and remembering how to establish connection to their true selves again.

In the carefully curated online meet ups, participants are being guided through 18 live sessions to recondition limiting behavioural patterns, enhance self-awareness, and foster deeper connections with themselves and their loved ones.

OUR VISION
PRESENT FATHERS

The absence of fathers - and lack of attention to father's experiences - hurts not only individual children but a whole future generation and is therefore a serious threat to humanity at all. At SHIVA SHIFT, we are creating a safe container to consciously heal the silent wounds of fatherhood, introducing tools to self-regulate, using community for co-regulation and support, assisting fathers in challenging situations by group sessions and personal coaching, and above all working towards more self-awareness and secure attachment. By doing that, we help breaking the looping cycle of ancestor trauma, seven generations back and to the future as the common saying goes, so that by re:membering and re:claiming our true power we can thrive consciously and sustainably, again, individually as well as collectively as a society. The emotional toll on fathers is severe. Divorced men face an eightfold higher suicide risk compared to divorced women, and single fathers die at three times the rate of single mothers. About one in ten new fathers experience postpartum depression, yet lack access to screening or mental‑health services. Research shows symptoms are often misinterpreted or ignored by healthcare and legal professionals. Cultural norms around masculinity—emotional restraint, financial focus, stoic resilience—deepen the crisis. Men who live up to these ideals are often the least supported when in pain. The result? A chain of trauma rippling across generations—children growing up with absent fathers, emotional scars that echo through families and culture. This is the unspoken crisis of modern fatherhood.

WEEK 0

PROLOGUE & INTRODUCTION

In the prologue, participants will be introduced to the overarching goals and structure of the Shiva Shift program. This initial phase is designed to set the stage for the transformative journey ahead. Participants will learn about the concept of Shiva and how it relates to their personal growth. The sessions will also focus on building a supportive community and setting individual intentions for the program. - SESSION 1: Introduction to the program and its goals, understanding the concept of Shiva. - SESSION 2: Getting to know each other and setting intentions. ACTIVITIES: - Overview of the program structure and objectives. - Introduction to the concept of Shiva. - Group discussions to set personal goals and intentions. - Gentle yoga, breath work, and meditation to get participants into their bodies. OUTCOMES: - Clear understanding of the program's purpose and structure. - Established personal goals and intentions. - Initial connection with fellow participants.

WEEK 1

STATUS QUO & VISON BOARD

The second week focuses on self-assessment and future planning. Participants will analyze their current life situations and identify areas that need change. They will then create a vision board to visualize their future selves and set clear, achievable goals. - SESSION 1: Analyzing current situations and visualizing future selves. - SESSION 2: Creating a vision board. ACTIVITIES: - Self-assessment exercises to identify current challenges. - Guided visualization to imagine future selves. - Creation of a vision board to set goals and aspirations. - Gentle 45-minute yoga session focusing on basic poses and relaxation. OUTCOMES: - Increased self-awareness of current life situations. - Clear vision of future goals and aspirations. - Motivation to achieve set goals.

WEEK 2

REGULATION & RELEASE

In the third week, participants will learn tools and techniques to manage stress and break old, unproductive patterns. This module focuses on stress regulation, releasing blcokages and reconditioning the mind as well as the body to respond positively to challenges. - SESSION 1: Tools for stress regulation. - SESSION 2: Breaking old patterns. ACTIVITIES: - Techniques for stress release and regulation. - Exercises to break cycles of bad habits and old patterns. - 50-minute yoga session with a focus on stress-relief poses and gentle stretches. - Breath work and CBD support. OUTCOMES: - Improved ability to manage and reduce stress. - Awareness and breaking of unproductive patterns. - Enhanced relaxation and mental clarity.

WEEK 3

EMBODIMENT & EXERCISE

Week four is dedicated to building a strong foundation of physical and mental practices. Participants will focus on creating physical strength, mental clarity, and emotional stability through yoga and other exercises. - SESSION 1: Building a strong foundation of practice. - SESSION 2: Mental clarity and emotional stability. ACTIVITIES: - Yoga sessions to create physical strength. - Exercises for mental clarity and emotional stability. - 60-minute yoga session focusing on building physical strength and stability. - Slowly building up a trauma-sensitive yoga practice and Kundalini activation. OUTCOMES: - Increased physical strength and stability. - Enhanced mental clarity and emotional stability. - Strong foundation for continued practice.

WEEK 4

AWARENESS & ARCHETYPES

This week explores different archetypes and their relevance to personal growth. Participants will study Jungian archetypes and engage in exercises from men's work programs to understand and embody these archetypes. - SESSION: Exploring different archetypes. - SESSION: Men's work programs. ACTIVITIES: - Study of Jungian archetypes and their application. - Exercises to understand and embody these archetypes. - 70-minute yoga session incorporating poses that enhance self-awareness and inner strength. - Awaken the masculine and inner child work. OUTCOMES: - Deeper understanding of personal archetypes. - Ability to embody positive archetypal traits. - Increased self-awareness and inner strength.

HALF-TIME RETREAT

CREATION & INSPIRATION

The mid-program retreat is a full-day online / offline event where participants will apply the techniques learned so far in a practical setting. This retreat focuses on community building and personal reflection. ACTIVITIES: - Full-day retreat with yoga sessions, group activities, and personal reflections. - Multiple shorter yoga sessions throughout the day, totaling around 180 minutes. - Moon ceremonies with cacao and shamanic plant medicine (Rapeh). OUTCOMES: - Practical application of learned techniques. - Strengthened community bonds. - Personal insights and reflections.

WEEK 5

MEDITATION & MINDFULNESS

Week five deepens meditation practices and expands consciousness. Participants will engage in various meditation techniques to enhance self-awareness and consciousness. - SESSION 1: Deepening meditation practices. - SESSION 2: Expanding consciousness. ACTIVITIES: - Various meditation techniques. - Exercises to enhance self-awareness, mindfulness and consciousness. - 80-minute yoga session focusing on meditative poses and deep relaxation. - Guided meditation weekly and dream journeys + Yoga Nidra. OUTCOMES: - Enhanced meditation skills. - Increased self-awareness and consciousness. - Deep relaxation and mental clarity.

WEEK 6

STABILITY & STRENGTH

This week focuses on developing both physical and mental stability. Participants will engage in strength-building yoga poses and grounding exercises to enhance their stability. - SESSION 1: Physical stability. - SESSION 2: Mental stability. ACTIVITIES: - Strength-building yoga poses. - Grounding exercises and stability-focused meditations. - 90-minute yoga session with a focus on strength and grounding. - Yogic alchemy, tantric transformation and somatic exercises. OUTCOMES: - Increased physical, mental and emotional stability. - Enhanced grounding and strength. - Emotional release and energetical transformation.

WEEK 7

CLARITY & PURPOSE

Participants will focus on finding clarity and purpose in their lives. This week includes vision-setting exercises and purpose-driven yoga practices to help participants gain a clear sense of direction. - SESSION 1: Finding clarity. - SESSION 2: Purpose-driven practices. ACTIVITIES: - Vision-setting exercises. - Purpose-driven yoga practices and clarity-enhancing meditations. - 100-minute yoga session focusing on clarity and purpose-driven poses. - Shadow work and book list. OUTCOMES: - Clear sense of purpose and direction. - Enhanced clarity and focus. - Personal growth and self-discovery.

WEEK 8

RESET & RECONDITIONING

The final week focuses on identifying and overcoming toxic behaviors. Participants will engage in therapeutic discussions and yoga practices designed to foster positive change. - SESSION 1: Identifying toxic behaviours. - SESSION 2: Overcoming toxic behaviours. ACTIVITIES: - Therapeutic discussions. - Yoga for behavioural change and supportive activities. - 110-minute yoga session focusing on releasing toxic patterns and fostering positive change. - Aftercare & integration. OUTCOMES: - Awareness of toxic behaviours. - Tools and techniques to overcome negative patterns. - Positive behavioural change and personal growth.

FINAL WEEKEND

RETREAT & REMEMBER

The final weekend retreat is an immersive experience in nature, focusing on networking, sharing experiences, and continued personal growth. ACTIVITIES: - Outdoor / indoor yoga sessions. - Group discussions, nature walks, and bonding activities. - Multiple sessions totalling around +240 minutes. OUTCOMES: - Deepened connections with fellow participants. - Continued personal growth and reflection. - Enhanced sense of community and support.

POST PROGRAM

AFTERCARE & INTEGRATION

This module checks in on participants' progress and integration of the tools learned during the program. It ensures continued support and growth. ACTIVITIES: - Follow-up sessions to check-in how participants are feeling. - Support for implementing tools and overcoming any struggles. - Gentle 60-minute yoga session to reconnect and integrate learnings.
